Agarwood Plantations
Where nature crafts the world's most precious wood
Agarwood: Forest Gold of the World
Agarwood is one of the rarest, most valuable, and most fragrant wood-producing plants in the world. Known as Oud in English and Aguru in Sanskrit, it is naturally and commercially produced across India, Bangladesh, Assam, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia.
It holds profound importance in religious, medicinal, fragrance, and luxury industries — earning its title as "Wood of the Gods."
How Is Agarwood Formed?
The agarwood tree is normally ordinary in appearance. However, when infected by a specific fungus, the tree produces a dark, aromatic resin to protect itself. This resinous portion becomes what we know as agarwood.
Not every agarwood tree yields agarwood — only infected trees produce high-quality wood. This rarity is precisely why agarwood commands extraordinary prices in global markets.
Types & Grades of Agarwood
Grade I
Extremely fragrant, dark in colour, and rich in resin. The pinnacle of agarwood.
Grade II
Moderate fragrance and resin content. Widely used in the perfume and incense trade.
Grade III
Lower resin content. Primarily used in Ayurveda, herbal treatments and incense production.
Forest Gold — Wood of the Gods
These returns are based on minimum yield assumptions, at conservative grade pricing across 100 trees over 9–10 years.
Higher resin yield, Grade I classification, or favourable market conditions at harvest can significantly increase returns beyond this estimate.

Quality Begins at
the Seed

Sourced from a certified mother tree at the home of agarwood

Nurtured under continuous expert observation before field transplantation
"शुद्ध बिजा पोटी फळे रसाळ गोमटी"
— Sant Tukaram
As the Marathi saying goes — only from a pure seed does the finest fruit grow. The quality of every tree we plant traces directly back to the integrity of the seed it came from.
Why Our Saplings Are Different
From seed selection to field transplantation — every step is deliberate, organic, and overseen by experts. This is what gives our plantation a higher survival and resin-formation advantage.
Certified Mother Tree
Seeds are sourced exclusively from a certified, high-resin-yielding mother tree in Agartala — the heartland of agarwood cultivation in India.
Handpicked Seeds
Every seed is handpicked at peak maturity. No mechanised harvesting — ensuring only the most viable, resin-ready seeds make it to the nursery.
Organic Germination
Seeds are germinated organically, without chemical accelerants. Growth happens naturally, resulting in stronger root systems and healthier saplings.
Expert Observation
Every sapling is grown under continuous monitoring by our cultivation experts — ensuring optimal health before transplantation to the field.

Returns on Agarwood Plantation
A long-term investment with extraordinary upside. The numbers speak for themselves.
Revenue figures are based on minimum yield assumptions — 4 kg per tree, 400 kg total across 100 trees over 9–10 years. Higher resin yield, Grade I classification, or favourable market conditions at harvest can significantly increase returns beyond these projections.
